Almost new Albion jumping saddle for sale. Hampshire and central London collection possible. Hardly used as was purchased for a horse that was then sold. Not right fit for new horse. We have the original red fleece saddle cover made by Albion. Measurements: Based on the methodology from www.saddleseek.com which has a measuring page 18.5" from rivet to cantle 16.5 from pommel to cantle D ring to D ring - if you take the tape measure round the corner, 11.5 but if the D ring is projected in front of the saddle 10. Medium width fitting. 17.5 as stamped by Albion. None of these measurements are very useful. They suggest that you use the 'fist and inches' method to assess the width of the saddle. Yes, I know - I could not believe it either. On that basis, the width is medium, 1 fist and 1 inch or 4 inches at the gullet! Hope that helps.

Albion 17.5 GP Black Leather Saddle.  Stamped  N-M but has had a new head plate fitted by Albion so is now M-W.  I can produce paperwork to verify this.  In very good condition as has been well looked after.  Only selling as new horse very short coupled so sadly this saddle does not fit him. I have tried to show as much as possible in pictures.  There is very slight discolouration on pommel and cantle which by now means distracts the quality of saddle.  Has had new girth straps fitted.  Buyer to arrange collection in person or by courier.  I am quite happy to box it ready for collection.   Situated in Richmond, North Yorkshire.

Details about   Albion K2 Jumping Saddle Black

Albion K2 Jumping saddle. Sad sale of this very smart and comfortable saddle that has had very little use, mostly just sat in the tack room but now has to go so to buy one that actually fits for my youngster! This saddle has a 17" seat. It was originally made for a disabled showjumper so has a slightly flatter seat and slight larger knee rolls and thigh blocks than most K2 jump saddle but this make it feel very secure to ride in! Originally it was a narrow width and so is stamped as narrow but the saddle has been sent through a qualified saddler back to Albion and the tree has been replace for a medium. It does come up a little narrower than my other medium tree Albion K2 jump and would suit horse with high withers. There are no big scratches or scuffs on this saddle. There are some normal expected marks on the girth straps. At the moment it just has the three normal girth straps but there is a loop or a pointing strap to be attached if required. The flocking is smooth and equal and this saddle has been stored on a proper saddle rack when it is not in use (which is most of the time!)
