It is elasticated and complete with a removable running martingale attachment. This looks just like leather but is immensely more practical in bad weather,   just needing a quick wipe down to clean.

You are bidding on my extra full English leather five point with running martingale attachment. It is black leather with navy and yellow elastic and sheepskin shoulder pads. It rrps at £110. It has been worn a handful of times but it is too big for my boy and doesn't do its job. The leather work will be marked on the smallest holes the way any leather work will. This is a quality breastplate, not the sub standard European leather equivalent, and I'm loathed to let it go, it just doesn't fit.

This is a lovely little saddle which has been used on our 13.2 pony. It kept our young jockeys securely in place as for many years, for a various disciplines including dressage, jumping, hunting and lots of hacking. The Walsall stamp can just be made out, I believe the saddler was Don Burnell. There is no damage to the leather and all stitching is intact.  The saddle has been regularly cleaned and kept indoors. It measures 8.5 inches from d to d. Comes complete with a pair of 4 inch stirrup irons with white tread, and 54 inch stirrup leathers which are old but still have plenty of wear in them.  Jeffries stamp is just visible on them. This is a lovely and comfortable English Leather Saddle. 17.5'' 'Spring Seat'. Stamped Medium width but at 9'' between the d's I would market this as a medium-wide fit. A nice wide spine channel - at least 3'' at the back/narrowest part anf flaring out to 5'' of gullet/wither space at the front.  Nice wide, weight distributing panels. In good used condition - smart enough for competitions - just the normal signs of use being a few small scuffs to cantle, fading from stirrup leathers, few minor marks here and there. Thick supple leather, sound tree, stitching and forged steel stirrup bars and girth straps all in good condition.  Spring tree. Good sized knee rolls and slimline thigh blocks. Girth guards. 48hr tracked and insured courier delivery. Sensible offers invited.

English leather saddle, measures 17.5" seat and stamped on bar as medium width fitting. Measures 9.5" d-d. This saddle is old very well used and only really suitable for breaking in. The seat has some flexion that is only due to age and old webbs, not broken but wouldn't advise to use for much more than breaking purposes. The saddle has some scuffs and cuts in the leather on the pommel, but all of this is not really an issue as cosmetic and doesn't affect it for use.
