A second hand Thorowgood GP 17" MW saddle in good condition. There is some cosmetic wear on the first girth strap both sides as shown in the photographs otherwise the saddle is in good order with little wear. The width from D to D  is approx. 9" measured from the outside of the saddle.

Walsall made ALbion SL dressage saddle.  In very good used condition. Lovely sought after saddles, which put you in a great position and are very secure. Great big knee block. Versatile, comfy and secure. Good wide and well padded seat. Lovely broad panels and wide gullet. Puts you in a correct position. Extended stirrup bars.  Measures 18" from stud to centre of cantle. Measures nearly 9" across the dee's. Nice MW fit. Stamped '18' on the sweatflap but with no width, so would have been made to template.  Flap measures " from stirrup bar to bottom.  Tree is sound. The stitching is strong, and girth straps are in good condition. Has point strap fitted, to help stability, and holds the saddle well behind the horse's shoulder. Panels are wool flocked and soft and even. Just normal signs of wear and use. No marks or damage. Lovely clean condition throughout. Details about   17.5" MW Medium Wide Black Dressage Saddle

inches from D-D approx Medium Wide (my measurements shown in pictures) Black Dressage Saddle for sale. Stamps are unreadable so have shown my own measurements. Made in England by Champion Saddlery with Long Billets. Well used saddle kept in good condition with few blemishes and 2 small breaks in the stitching (please see pictures) one is behind knee roll on right side and the other is bottom right of the left side of the saddle - Both of these are EASILY repaired as it is just where the stitching has become loose and I haven't gotten round to fixing it. Lovely cut back pommel which is great for high withered horses. Width - I have measured the width from D to D which isn't 100% accurate as it can vary between saddles, however 9 inches should be a Medium Wide width saddle. As far as I have found the saddle is in great working order and has many more years use in it. I have no use for it any longer. Please ask any questions regarding the saddle. Thanks

In excellent condition this GP/Event  saddle was built on a standard tree and is a medium fit. It was made to measure for my Irish Draft cross Thoroughbred who had a fairly flat back hence the back pads are deep but this can be adjusted to rebalance  by reducing the flocking to suit. Genuine reason for sale and only lightly used. Please feel free to ask any questions or ask for measurements. I also have the original black saddle cover which will be included. Thanks for looking.
