Stunning English leather saddle, only sat on a handful of times by Kings saddlery, Walsall. Has a couple of scratches on cantle from daughter catching on wall. 17.5 wide no 4 fit. Looking for as close to £500 as paid a lot more for saddle new in December.

Quality GP saddle in brown leather made by Kings Saddlery of Walsall (www.kingsaddlery.co.uk).  It is a few years old now but still has lots of life left in it.   In good clean condition with no tears or rips but used so some light marks as you would expect from normal wear.  It hasn't had a great deal of use so the girth straps are in good condition.  See the photos for measurements, I'll do my best to answer any questions.

The saddle was fine, but as a result of poor storage, the stitching has gone.  project for restoration or breaking.    it is wide fitting.   leather work is in good condition.  Drings are rusted but could be restored.   similar the stirrup bars would need attention. Honest listing  "warts & all" for someone wiht the skills to restor or in need of spares.  .

Lovely Brown leather dressage/workers saddle. This saddle has long girth straps, but also has holes all the way to the top of the straps so could be trimmed. I used it as both a dressage and a working hunter saddle. Very comfortable seat. Sound tree, nice and straight. Medium wide size, nice and flat and sits nicely. Obviously has wear marks as any used saddle would, no damage to any of the leather. No rips or tears. Girth straps could do with being changed, as there is some damage lower down. But if using a standard girth these wouldn't be a problem. Ideal saddle for a breaker or everyday use. Served me well getting my horse going and now not used, so needs a new home.
