Barnsby Pony Club saddle. 16" seat, 8" D-ring to D-ring.  Well used with a few scratches and scuffs (as pictured) but it is still a nice, sound little saddle in good working order. The saddle is flocked with wool and had point straps fitted by a saddler about 5 years ago. Has been in regular use until recently when I decided to try treeless hence my reason for sale. Saddle is to be collected only, however if the purchaser wishes to arrange collection by a courier (at own cost and risk) then I am happy to carefully pack the item.

Details about   16" M Cliff Barnsby Pony Club saddle

This super little saddle has done sterling service on a variety of native ponies that are built like a loo roll with no withers! It is built on a very flat tree with flat gussetts and tends not to roll or move forwards. It looks quite straight cut, but actually has plenty of knee support. Sadly the only child I have that still fits into a 16" saddle has a pony that does not taper at the withers as his previous one did, so needs a wider saddle........... The girth points are sound, as is the saddle. The only issue is that the girth straps are starting to peel an separate, but are still well-stitched and passed muster at PC recently. Having had a bit of a nightmare with specific courier companies that cannot seem to make the effort to see if anyone is at home, I am happy to send at cost using whichever service the buyer prefers, so will list P+P at £15, but it may well be less. Local collection is also a possibility and I am happy for the purchaser to view the saddle and try it on before the end of the auction. Also listed elsewhere, so may end auction early. I know I would get more money for this saddle if I sold it via my local saddler, but I have a tiny tack room and not enough space for lots of spare saddles

Fylde Show Saddle 16” Havana   This is an auction for a lovely suede & leather Fylde show saddle. It measurers 16” across the seat.   Fylde saddles are renown for ‘being the best’ in the showing world and as such are very well made in England.   All Fylde saddles are template adjustable if you return the saddle to Fylde. If I remember correctly, when I enquired it was £35 to have a saddle adjusted, obviously you would have the cost of sending the saddle on top of that.   This is a used saddle and as such shows sign of wear in the usual places, like the suede on the seat and where the stirrup leathers hang down the flaps but overall it’s still in good condition. I used the saddle for showing lead rein but my Daughter is no longer interested in riding so I’m selling off the bits I have acquired which are also listed in my other items.   Please feel free to ask any questions & I will reply as soon as I can.     Thanks for looking!
