I have always found it very effective and extremely easy and quick to use when tacking up as it does away with the need of fiddling around with straps. The pad is slightly padded either side of the back (see photos) for the comfort of the horse. Ideal for use on a youngster or for those whose time is precious! In used condition and subsequently has a few marks on edging.
