Here we have an old jewellery box. This box has been well used and well loved and the signs of wear are considerable on the outer top (see picture 3). The box is made from a very fine leather which has had a pull/scuff in one place across the top. (See picture 3). This jewellery bow was originally a very vintage and vivid Green, which can be seen on the bottom of the box (see picture 4) but the daylight has faded the top and sides. Inside, there is a beautiful Green velvet tray which can be taken to access a shallow tray underneath. The box is finished in a green satin, which is slightly coming away in places. It is functional and beautiful but the outer top shows its age and use. This is OLD!!! It deserves to be somewhere where it will be enjoyed and used.

Welcome to my auction for this old Jewellery box which measures approx.. 9and 3/4 inches long 6 and 3/4 inches wide and 4 inches high, it is inset with mother of pearl as shown in the photos, it has a small chip in the top at the rear and the compartments in tray have come apart also the hessian underneath has seen better days.
