Antique Army riding boots. I believe them to be size 9. They're 17 inches high, they're waxed and polished. The rear stitching has split at the top and base of one, there are some repairs to them. Hi Here are a pair of used mahogany top boots. They are waxed leather so do not come up really shiney. I bought them a few years back and hunted in them for couple of seasons. They need a really good scrub up. I have polished them and  they were well oiled before that. The soles have rubber grips. The toes on the soles peeled back a bit so I glued them and held them down with drawing pins which are still there! Some approx measurements Total height inc heel 19" Calf around outside of boot 17" Come with some old ally boot trees, one has been squashed a bit! They came from France, maker Couso Veritable stamped on leather on sole. Size 8 1/2 Cost me £250 There are some nicks in the leather from thorn bushes, bramble etc. nothing major. Just need a really good clean up and will be spot on for opening meet.... Not long now:)

They have been hand made no maker but quality boots lovely soft leather they have been kept with support in them,leather soles and heels slight wear to sole and the only other damage is to the seam on the back of one boot about a inch  has come apart  a little stitch would soon put it right    ,they have pulls inside to put them on with.. The measurements are 8 and half in foot,length of boots from heal to top is 18 inches 12 half around ankle and calf is 14 and half inches. I have a black pair exactly the same size.

This a superb riding coat which looks to be for the French Army.  All nickel fittings with a belt and slots in the canvas to reach interior garment pocket.  Adjustable fittings on the sleeve.    Interior straps for the legs to go through, adjustable.   The back has a flap that can be opened or closed with four aluminium buttons.    The coat is half lined on the shoulder area for more restistance to water penetration.    Olive green.        I don't think it has ever been used as there are no signs of wear.  Heavy item hence postage.   27 inches underarm to underarm flat with raglan sleeves so looks fine on any size of person from medium to large to extra large.  Sleeves are about 24 inches although that depends on the size of the person wearing it.   Made to go over a uniform.  Superb quality.
