This is a lovely saddle and it is with great regret that I’m selling it. The condition is good - it has been well looked after. From the GFS (Fieldhouse) range of dressage saddles developed by the worlds leading dressage rider, Olympic gold medalist and world champion Anky Van Grunsven. Combining balance, beauty and comfort. Anky dressage saddles are designed to enhance the rider’s ability to effectively use the three classical communication channels that flow between horse and rider. They feature a non restricting seat to allow clear seat aids, minimal bulk through the panel and flap to encourage precise leg aids and superior balance plus independent, soft rein contact. These are now about £ new, so an absolute bargain, we can't compete now, following injury, so it is a bit of a waste for it not to be enjoyed! The price reflects the original cost and quality and current condition but 'ono' considered. Higher spec than normal GFS monach dressage saddle. Finished in a soft and supple double stitched leather allowing a much closer feel. Balanced seat with supportive and movable block which allows better positioning for each individual rider and extra padding on the knee encourages a correct leg position. The front gusset in the panel and open head makes the saddle suitable for a horse with an average height wither.   Absolutely fantastic comfy saddle. Approx 12 mths old. Excellent condition and fully adjustable. Currently with med width gusset in, but also comes with a med/ wide gusset. 18 Inch Anky dressage saddle. Black with some minor fading in places. Measures 9 inches approx across the d-rings and 4.5 inches approx across the inside front gullet. Medium wide. Would suit a horse with decent withers. Very comfortable deep seated saddle. Has had 4 new girth straps fitted.  Has scratches on the seat as shown in picture, I would expect them to smooth out and become less noticeable with use. Very nice well made quality saddle. Puts rider in a very good position.

Details about   GFS 15 inch pony dressage WH saddle

GFS Grid Prix pony dressage saddle, which would also suit as a working hunter saddle. Quality black leather and it has recently been reflocked but not yet put onto the pony for bedding in (as the pony was sold in the meantime), so it is ready to mould to your pony's back afresh.     It is a few years old now but still has lots of life left in it.  The master saddlers that reflocked it  vouched that the tree is sound and true. In good clean condition with no tears or rips but used so some light marks as you would expect from normal wear.   It is very comfortable to ride in!  See the photos for measurements, I'll do my best to answer any questions.

A beautifully hand- made saddle, designed for top dressage riding, this Hermes classic close contact saddle has some light discolouration on skirt. Flocking is very good. Size: width - standard Hermes 'medium'.  Seat: 17.5 inch. The specific shape of an Hermes dressage tree allows optimal vertical leg positioning, and excellent contact with the horse giving a wonderful feel of the horse’s movements while maintaining a comfortable seat.
