Shires turnout rug, quite elderly now, but still with an awful lot of wear left in it. Two chest buckles, fleece wither strip, shoulder gussets, cross surcingles, one leg strap used as a fillet string, and tail flap. The outer is the really tough D Shiretex fabric, and it has a blanket lining. I'm not sure if you'd call it medium or heavy - probably medium, although the actual weight of the rug is heavy! Two patches, one on either side, a couple of very small nicks which have Stormsure on them, and a patch on the lining which being hand sewn, doesn't affect the outside at all. It's been well scrubbed over the fence, and has had three coats of Nikwax reproofer sponged on - it's pretty clean, but there are still a few marks and stains. Size wise, it measures exactly 6'6" from front to back - so taking into account an overlap when you do up the front, it's more like a 6'3". It'll come by courier, so if you live in the Highlands or Islands, please message me with your postcode, as I'm not sure about delivery. Northern Ireland, I'm sorry, but it weighs just over 4 kgs, so cost would be £ by Parcelforce. ******** ******** Please note that payment is required within 5 days of auction end.  I always obtain proof of posting, so please contact me if you have not received your purchase within a reasonable timescale.
