Ideal for directional control. Helps set them up for arrowheads etc. Usually employed with one rein fixed on the centre or bottom ring. May also be used with Pelham roundings between the central and bottom rings, a curb strap is optional. A favourite with the show jumpers and eventers. Bit shows minimal signs of wear as has only been used minimally, as I have switched to the ported bar of the Slimma Show Pelham.  Is still in original bag and complete with curb chain.  Bought as a 5.25" but please consider this a 5" bit as NS bits do seem to come up quite small due to how fine they are.
