Calcutt and sons brown leather saddle. Older saddle ideal for starting young horses getting them used to weight and feeling(as I used it for) its been well used, scuffs and marks etc. Still useable. Approx 8 1/2 inches from d to d and a medium fit. Think the style is more gp/working hunter type. Great starter saddle for any horse or person on a budget. Will post at buyers cost but unfortunately it is quite pricey due to weight and size of item. Or collection also.

Lovely brown leather dressage / cub saddle girth, made by a local saddler and only used a few times. It's been in storage, forgotten about, so I've put neatsfoot oil on it, and it's nice and supple. Small amount of rust on the buckles, but nothing that stops it being used. Welcome to my auction for a Jeffries Wembley havana brown English leather girth with stainless steel buckles. Size 48".  This girth was only used around three times, but unfortunately has some areas which I assume must have rubbed on the saddle, resulting in some unsightly marks, which is a real pity.  These rub marks are mostly on the underside of the girth and hence cannot be seen, however there is one small mark on the uppermost side, about 6" in from the buckle.  I have tried to show these as accurately as possible in the photographs.  Obviously this is a cosmetic issue and not a safety one, all stitching is in excellent order.  I am selling other "horsey" bits and pieces so please feel free to check out my other items, I'm happy to combine postage.  Happy Bidding!
