Thorowgood technic saddle, with cut back pommel for high withered horses measuring 9inches d to d and 18.5 in seat! This is a lovely saddle!!! I brought this saddle new for my tb mare but sadly I lost her before I got chance to use it. I held onto it with the hope it would fit one of my others but it doesn't and had just been sat in my tack room collecting dust, so finally decided to sell! Iv sat in this saddle once when it was first tried on but that's all the use its had. Due to being stored for so long it has a couple of tiny (really tiny) white spots but I'm sure if cleaned with soapy water will come off easy, there is also a little bit of a scuff/loose stitching about 1cm long on the cantle which can be seen in the picture.    GRAB YOURSELF A BARGAIN!  Please note: Saddle is sold as seen and I won't accept returns.

Black Thorowgood Cob GP saddle, 17" in good condition. The saddle has been used and has a small cosmetic section which has come loose at the front but a bit of glue should sort that out and it does not detract from the saddle in any way. It is clean and tidy and is in good repair. Checked over by a saddle fitter (Master Saddler) in the last week and has been declared as a good saddle and is in a good state of repair. I have used this saddle on my young cob, but now that he is older I am moving on to a traditional fitted leather saddle for showing etc. Low start price as this saddle must go. I don't have an infinite amount of space in the tackroom! The saddle comes with either a white gullet (xwide) or a blue gullet (MedWide) so please do specify your preference. A black, synthetic general purpose Thorowgood saddle in good condition. It has suede-effect seat and knee rolls and is very comfortable to ride in. I bought the saddle two years ago to back my youngster in and it's been brilliant, but now he has changed shape, so I'm having to sell it.  It's lightweight and robust and has the usual signs of wear, but is in great working condition. It has a cut back pommel, so great for higher/larger withered horses. It's very easy to maintain - just a quick wipe down with a damp cloth does the job. Both stirrup leather keepers have been lost (see photo), but the flaps are totally fine. All 6 girth straps are in good condition as is the tree. There is only one buckle guard (there was only one when I bought the saddle). It's an ideal saddle for hacking, jumping, flatwork, backing a young horse or for a cold backed horse due to being lightweight. It measures (see photos too): 9" D ring to D ring 5.5' inside below D rings 15.5"cantle to cut back part of pommel 17" cantle to front of pommel 13" across the widest part of the saddle flap Please note, the saddle blanket in the photos is not for sale! Thorowgood T4 cob GP, currently fitted with the Yellow XXW gullet bar.   Used saddle does have some wear in the seat an knee areas, which is not noticeable from a distance so doesn't affect it's use and a smart saddle. This is a lovely and well cared for Thorowgood 17.5" black synthetic GP saddle in very good condition. It has only been lightly used, having been bough new 4 years ago and used for about 6 months, it has been stored on a rack in a cover. All stitching and materials are sound apart from a few scuff marks and it has had new leather girth straps fitted. It is a wide fit, measuring 10" from D-ring to D-ring and comes with 2 sets of changeable fish - thick and thin. To be collected, or it can be dropped off at Sedgemoor or Gordano services on the M5 or Cardiff by arrangement. You are welcome to arrange a courier and the saddle will be carefully packed. 18" black Thorowgood Saddle in good condition. Interchangeable gullet system and currently has a black R-bar gullet in it which is a Medium size. Saddle has been used a handful of times but due to being stored away has a few minor imperfections. There are slight wear/rub marks on left side of saddle (see pictures) on the seat and saddle flap but this is very minor. Also; there is a small nick on right side of saddle flap which I believe has been developed from being stored away. Stirrup leathers included in sale but stirrup irons are not.
