This is a lovely Black Country GP/Event saddle, black, ",  MW. It is in excellent condition with soft supple leather having been very well looked after. There are a few stretch marks in the seat and slight fading towards the rear of the saddle as shown in the photographs but it is a superbly comfortable saddle and expensive when new. It measures 9" from D ring to D ring.

Details about   16" MW Ideal pony saddle

I am absolutely gutted that this saddle doesn't fit any of my current ponies as it is extremely comfortable (even when I squeeze myself into it!) and puts the rider in a great position. Would make a great WHP saddle as although there is plenty of knee roll it also accommodates a big shoulder. Has been used on a flat-backed Welsh section B with no withers as well as a Connemara who is a similar shape but now needs an extra wide. Having had a bit of a nightmare with specific courier companies that cannot seem to make the effort to see if anyone is at home, I am happy to send at cost using whichever service the buyer prefers, so will list P+P at £15, but it may well be less. Local collection is also a possibility and I am happy for the purchaser to view the saddle and try it on before the end of the auction. Also listed elsewhere, so may end auction early. I know I would get more money for this saddle if I sold it via my local saddler, but I have a tiny tack room and not enough space for lots of spare saddles!

As you can see from the pix the saddle is in great condition & only selling as it dosent fit my new horse. The saddle is a wide & measures aprox 9 -9.5" d ring to d ring & is black in colour. The buyer of this saddle will not be disappointed. The saddle has usual marks from stirrup leathers but not bad & has some light scratches on the seat as shown in the picture. But it does not affect the saddle in anyway. Please note the saddle pad & cloth do not come with the saddle.
