Barnsby dressage saddle, 17" seat, medium width, black. In good condition. Has been well looked after and cleaned after every use. Leather is supple and stitching in good condition. There is a very small scratch in the leather on the cantle, as photographed, but only visible very close up. Very comfortable, deep seated, supportive dressage saddle with lovely squishy knee rolls. Great saddle that is only for sale as does not fit my new horse and is going to waste in the tack-room not being used. I am only looking for £200 as saddle needs a new home! Hi and welcome to my auction for this very hard to come by beautiful Harry Dabbs, English leather black Dressage Saddle. It's a 16.5" medium width in lovely condition. Really deep seat and generous knee rolls. Tree checked out and 100% by professional saddler - and all stitching and panels are in great condition as I hope the photo's show, I took a few inside using flash and a few outside in natural light.. No way can I (or would I!) risk mailing this for fear of damage; we are located slap in the middle of the country, 2 miles from where the A5 crosses the M42 near Tamworth, however I travel weekly to Huddersfield so more than happy to meet anywhere on the way (I pass near Derby, Nottingham, Sheffield, and of course Leeds and Manchester aren't far off when i get there either) if that helps. This saddle was made by shires. It's black leather. There are a few scratches on saddle like you would expect on any used saddle, but there is some wear to the saddle flap skirting (see picture) the girth straps are in good condition. It measure 18" and the stirrup bar states it's a medium width but to me looks narrow.

Nicely balanced GP saddle  made by Oakland saddlery Measures 9"D to D  approx and 5"in the entrance to the gullet, where the saddle sits either side of the withers From stirrup bar to end of saddle flap is 14" Seat approx. 10" Reasonable condition, n ot perfect, but idea for backing, breaking.Smart looking apart from the seat. Saddle has been stored and went dry on the seat, therefore has some light cracking to the surface, which is getting much better with feed, and one button missing..obviously easily replaced if required Could easily be a very nice saddle again, with a little money spent...therefore a bargain! Girth straps good condition Tree is sound, flocking seems good, well padded and even; I'd be happy if I bought this saddle for this price:) Would be ideal for medium built horse/ pony.
