Please take an extra note of the terms at the bottom as there very strict and if you do not wish to stick to them PLEASE do NOT buy.   Right in this listing:   English leather GP/jump saddle made by Lovatt and Ricketts   brown two-tone. A well-known saddler for making superb quality saddles, rare to find in this size inch.   In good condition for a well used saddle, its been well looked after, no damage, 100% sound. Good size knee blocks offers the jockey lots of support.   Measures approx 8-1/2 inches d-ring to d-ring I would say it’s a medium-wide to wide fit but you can decide for yourself. SEE PHOTOS!   Lovely quality English leather. Girth straps are in good condition although well used still safe.   Shows normal signs of use as you’d expect from a well used saddle such as some rubbing where stirrup leathers have been/small marks hear & there, some slight fading to the leather in places. Brown, 18 inch lovatt and ricketts saddle, wide fitting, 9.5 inch d to d ring.... well loved and used saddle, fading to the leather in some places and cantle is a little rough as expected from a used saddle. girth straps in great condition and flocking is good. very solid well made saddle.. all in all in fair condition. very comfy... comes with stirrup irons and leathers, leather girth, many years left in.  lots and lots of other equestrian and tack items available, please see my other listings  NOTE one of the buckle guards has become unstitched on his saddle, hence price.... i do still have it and will send it with saddle..... obviously it is still 100% useable without it, so its your choice if you want to have it restitched for cosmetic reasons

I have for sale a well loved and used Lovett & RIcketts brown GP saddle. leather saddle which does show wear and tear. all which is cosmetic and there is no structural damage to saddle. all marks are due to use. was used on a welsh section d x Friesian apprx 16hh. from pommel to cantle it measures 17.5 inchs   and from d-ring to d-ring 7inchs. would love to keep for my youngster but she is more chunky then last horse and taking up room. please note saddle sold as seen but the saddle cloth is NOT included. will be cleaned and leather oiled up for new owner. for any more information please pm. no returns. happy bidding

Lovatt & Ricketts English Saddle I know very little about this saddle as it came with our newest horse although we already had a nicer saddle that fitted her, although my daughter thinks this saddle is also very comfortable. Please see pictures for general condition although the saddle could do with a really good clean and the little things on the side of the saddle that the stirrups go into are missing, and the top of the back seat is not great, generally I would say it is a very used saddle. Approximate size of saddle is 43 cm from little dot at the front of the saddle to the middle of the seat at the back and from d to d ring it is about 23 cms and from the leather inside the d ring is about 14 cms. This saddle has been well loved but is too big for my daughter as she is quite small. It fitted my 17.2 but not her 15.1. the D to D is 8" it can be collected from Coventry or I will post.  this is a very well loved saddle and you could sit in it all day for a days hunting, sad to see it go, but just doesn't fit my horse.
