hi there and welcome to my auction for my pony saddle. this saddle is in good condition it has only been used up to 3 times at pony club.  it came new when i bought my cob but has never fitted him. let my little girl use it at pony club bet she has since found boys more interesting!!!  the width of the gullet is 7" aprox and wide with 4 girth straps. it was made in England not the rubbish you can get from china. its a very comfortable and well made saddle. i have this saddle advertised else where so reserve the right to remove at any point.  please do not bid if you do not intend to buy.!  the item will be boxed up for postage and will be sent the next working day to payment clearing on paypal.  or local collection is ok if within 3 days.  please please NO TIME WASTERS! sorry to all you genuine ebayers but there are some nutters on here.   any questions please do ask and i will do my best to answer as soon as possible. good luck and happy bidding..

Welcome to my listing. Please take an extra note of the terms at the bottom as there very strict and if you do not wish to stick to them PLEASE do NOT buy.   Right in this listing:   Thorowgood Maxam Cob version GP saddle   17 inch and id say it was a medium-wide to wide fit but please view photos of measurements and decide for yourself.   D-ring at the back to attach a crupper too if needed.   Girth straps in great condition and removable/movable front knee blocks.   Cosmetically it has been used so shows normal signs of use, the only blemish’s to point out is:   1. There has been a repair on the seat where the fabric has ripped slightly but it has been stitched up well and wouldn’t cause any issues with use 2. On the cantle the fabric on each corner again has spilt slightly but I have glued this down so again shouldn’t cause any issues 3. On front left knee roll there’s been a rip in fabric again cosmetic 4. On the front pommel there is a slightly spilt in fabric   All of these are not that noticeable and certainly wouldn’t cause ANY issues at all with its use, a seat saver would cover the ones on the seat and cantle and the riders leg would cover the knee one if your bothered.   Still a great little saddle and other then those blemish’s it only shows normal signs of use and plenty of wear left.     All of this is ONLY cosmetic and won’t effect use at all, its still a fab saddle for backing purposes/home/starter saddle.     PLEASE VIEW photos ALL cosmetics are shown. THOROWGOOD MAXAM " SYNTHETIC SADDLE, BRIDLE & ACCESSORIES.  (Ref: 396 R) " black MAXAM GP synthetic saddle.  Medium fit.  Measures approximately 10" from D-Ring to D-Ring.  Very good condition.  Will need girth straps replacing as they are a little worn.  Very easy to replace as they are the thread-through type (see photo).  Brown cob size Gallop flash bridle.  Stainless steel buckles.  Comfort headpiece.  Buckle billet fastenings - one keeper has been replaced and is not stitched to the bridle, but works fine (see photos).  Bridle comes with a 6" loose ring jointed snaffle bit and original rubber-grip reins.  There is a white 'Sports Horse' saddle cloth, a pair of English 'Heritage' brown stirrup leathers, a pair of 4.1/2" Peacock safety stirrup irons with treads, and a 48" Cottage Craft brown padded girth.  Excellent value starter set. Thorowgood - black- synthetic saddle - maxam - high withers. GP saddle-medium fit with 8 inches d ring to d ring. Fixed gullet. Used but good condition. No splits. Tiny nic to piping along the pommel but very discreet. Synthetic girth straps still in very good safe condition. NOT creased or split. Webbing stirrup leather guards still fine and attached both ends. Slight scuffing to flaps but this is discreet and won't be seen once your mounted. Still some hair under the saddle flaps as this is hard to get off but the saddle is clean and tidy and has been stored in a dry tack room with a cover over it. It is fine for every day. It is comfortable and has years if use left in it. The saddle seems sound and well flocked- the tree seems solid and safe too. The seat is tight and very well stuffed. This is a great saddle but does not fit my new boy hence sale. These saddles are hard to get hold of in reasonable condition. Many have been used and abused for breaking youngsters. This is a good solid example of a maxam which will do you for all disciplines. I have bo So have a good look at the pictures before you decide to bid in a pre loved saddle:) if you decide to bid I think you would be happy with your purchase:) Terms- read please:). Please read terms as I will stick to what I ask as terms. Payment by paypal ASAP but within 48 hours please.
