This is a lovely little saddle which has been used on our 13.2 pony. It kept our young jockeys securely in place as for many years, for a various disciplines including dressage, jumping, hunting and lots of hacking. The Walsall stamp can just be made out, I believe the saddler was Don Burnell. There is no damage to the leather and all stitching is intact.  The saddle has been regularly cleaned and kept indoors. It measures 8.5 inches from d to d. Comes complete with a pair of 4 inch stirrup irons with white tread, and 54 inch stirrup leathers which are old but still have plenty of wear in them.  Jeffries stamp is just visible on them. Real leather saddle. Used on my 14.2h Cobb / welsh. Needs some repair. See pictures of disrepair: Slight split along seam, little bit of white paint, girth straps have previously been mended with canvas, pommel needs a little bit of stuffing, scuffing to back.   It was an amazing Saddlw back in the day! Hasn't been used or cleaned for 7 years! Measurements as follows: front to back 16.5", stud to back seat (measured diagonally): 16", width of seat at widest part: 9.5". See pictures. County Saddlery black dressage saddle. This is a lovely English leather dressage  saddle which is in super condition. We bought it for my daughter's pony over the summer, together with another (which I also have listed) but unfortunately this one didn’t fit her new pony. A very smart saddle which is blemish free (apart from a few leather spots as shown in the photos)   and made of very supple leather and would do anyone proud in the show ring or dressage arena. Her new pony is a slight 148cm (14.2hh) 4 yr old show pony that would just need to grow a bit for it to fit but we have settled on a 16.5” working hunter saddle instead. Please note that the stirrups and leathers are not included. So sorry, but no returns. I am happy to post the saddle out which will be very well packed or the winning bidder can collect. This is a dark brown english saddle, see pictures for makers plate. 16 inch pommel to cantle, front to back. 16.5 from stud to middle of cantle. Approx 8 ins Dring to Dring. I would think it is a medium fit. Only for sale as is one of a multitude of saddles bought to try for our large donkey, but this is too forward cut for her. It is a used saddle with a few nicks in underside nr gullet, could do with a stitch or two on top too,  and has a few scratches, but this is only cosmetic, see pics, if you wanted to have it repaired it would be a small inexpensive job. If you are not fussy about appearance this is a ready to go saddle, with lovely soft leather. These english saddles go on forever, no returns, if it doesnt fit you will have to resell it. Will be sent by my hermes courier. Free postage!

Tops of girth straps are fine but underneath a bit shabby. Good quality, comfortable saddle previously used on a NF pony with little withers. Comes with girth guards.
