I bought it for a foster pony that we had over a period of a few months. As you can see from the pictures the saddle is pretty much in shop bought condition apart from the rub marks on the girth straps. The saddle has a changeable gullet so that it can grow in or out as your ponies size changes. Different sized gullets can be purchased from most equine retailers. For auction with sensible reserve a Thorowgood " long saddle, has adjustable gullet and is currently fitted with wide gullet (this can easily be changed and gullets are available off shelf from Thorowgood agents). We are only selling this as our daughter has grown to tall for it and we have purchased a larger saddle. It has a slight bit of wear on the stitching and plastic of the right hand leg flap (see picture) otherwise the wear/condition is what you would expect from a two/three year old saddle. This was bought new by us and only used on the one pony, it replaced a smaller Thorowgood PC saddle, we have found them to be excellent and would have bought another if there was a larger size. Please take an extra note of the terms at the bottom as there very strict and if you do not wish to stick to them PLEASE do NOT buy.   Right in this listing:   Thorowgood Black Griffin pony GP saddle   15 inch and id say it was a medium fit but please view photos of measurements and decide for yourself.   D-ring at the back to attach a crupper too if needed.   Girth straps in great condition. Leather look material easy to clean and wipe down.   Cosmetically it has been used so shows normal signs of use e/g light rubbing/small scratches/small marks hear and there, the only blemish’s to point out is:   1. There is a small “nick” in the material on the back cantle on left hand side (Shown in photos) it is small and doesn’t effect use.   Wouldn’t cause ANY issues at all with its use.   A great little saddle.   Fab saddle for backing purposes/home/starter saddle.   PLEASE VIEW photos ALL cosmetics are shown.
