Clear Art Deco influences on this beautiful wall unit, which was used in a curtain store in Nice for many years as a measurement and payment counter. It contains two sliding doors and a drawer, the inside has one beam from side to side. The piece of furniture is entirely made of oak wood, of which one layer of the black veneer has been slightly damaged at the bottom, but it can be replaced. The measure of length is 2.48 metres, the depth is approx. 64 cm, height is approx. 84 cm. The cabinet is stored in Weesp because we are moving houses. Two iron brackets which were copper-plated. Between the brackets, there's 4 planks with a machined edge, so the sides of the brackets stay in place and there's a distance kept between them and the wall. The brackets stay in place because of this notching. The brackets can be attached to the wall with four screws. Because the planks were notched somewhat deeper on the side, the planks can be adjusted in height.Brackets are 14 cm deep and 77 cm high. If the four planks (20 x 75 cm ea.) are in the brackets, the total depth from the front of the plank to the wall behind it is 23.5 cm. Total weight: 6.3 kg The brackets are somewhat weathered in some places and the planks show some light spots, as seen in the pictures.
