The shade wedges both at the bottom and the top naturally and perfectly into the metal holder. The colour lies somewhere between salmon red and light brown. It is very light as a result of the materials used.The arms are a pale gold/copper colour but are made from aluminium. The circles are only punched in on the sides and then bent inward on the open sides. This is college-level metalworking.
