Clear Art Deco influences on this beautiful wall unit, which was used in a curtain store in Nice for many years as a measurement and payment counter. It contains two sliding doors and a drawer, the inside has one beam from side to side. The piece of furniture is entirely made of oak wood, of which one layer of the black veneer has been slightly damaged at the bottom, but it can be replaced. The measure of length is 2.48 metres, the depth is approx. 64 cm, height is approx. 84 cm. The cabinet is stored in Weesp because we are moving houses. Austin Powers eat your heart out! This vintage dry bar embodies all that is wonderfully funky and wild from the 's. A real conversation piece. It consists of three parts: the carpeted wooden platform which forms the base; the bar itself and the bar cabinet with smokey glass doors and lined with velvet in a matching colour to the base (orange). The bar is decorated at the front with four rows of three circular shapes, cut from the wooden front panel, to reveal a metallic backdrop. The bar can be slotted into place onto the platform, but equally works as a stand alone piece. It has two shelves and two small drawers. The leg supports on each corner run like loops along the full height of the bar and support the floating serving counter.Dimensions when fully set-up is 130cm wide by 120cm deep. The cupboard is 2m in height. When fully set up the space between the bar and bar cabinet is wide enough for one person (55cm).
