Beautiful wall light with swivel arm from the s. Inspired by the Panama lamp by Wim Rietveld (for Gispen) and the Hala sun series by H.Th.J.A.Busquet. Yellow iron lamp shade with perforations that provides a beautiful 'sun beam' lighting effect, iron manoeuvrable arm and metal wall plate. Various minor damage to the front and back of the lamp shade and swivel arm.Otherwise in good used condition. The perforations near the top of the lamp shade seem to have been made by the previous owner, probably due to the lamps overheating in the past which could damage the lamp holder or cause the wiring to melt.Measurements of shades: 31 cm (diameter) x 25 cm (height). Lamp is in used condition. The lamp is about 40 years old, so naturally it has signs of wear. I have added as many detailed photos as possible of those signs of wear. Exceptional table lamp. Made of solid brass, including the shade and adjusting screw. Lamp consists of a stand and an arm with an elegant curve that can be adjusted in height along the stand. On the end of the arm a lamp socket is installed, suitable for small sized (E14) light bulbs.The lamp is designed specifically for a gold-coloured bowl-mirror lamp.It can of course be used on a silver-coloured or any other round light bulb, but the lamp is clearly most harmonious when the bowl-mirror is in the same gold appearance as the shade. The shade is coated white on the inside. Including 157 cm bronze-coloured wire with a click switch. Measurements:Height in lowest position:66 cm (= height of the stand)Height in highest stand:97 cmDiameter of base: 15.5 cm.Condition:Very good.The lower plate (completely covered from sight) is missing.It is highly probable that this featured the manufacturer's name. The brass is in beautiful lustrous condition with here and there an extra fine brass gloss, and with very little signs of wear seen its considerable age.The coating on the inside of the shade (generally out of sight) has become somewhat stained by the heat generation of the used light bulbs.
