Gae Aulenti for Fontana Arte–coffee table (tavolo con

The Tavolo Con Ruote (table with wheels) was designed by the Italian designer legend Gae Aulenti for Fontana Arte in . The table is inspired by an industrial trolley which was used to transport glass pieces in the factory Aulenti. Aulenti replaced the wooden support with a glass plate to create an iconic piece of Italian design. The table was made in the s and is made of a glass top of 110 x 110 and stands on 4 black industrial rubber wheels. The table is 26.5 cm high and the cut glass top is 1.5 cm thick and is fairly heavy. The wheels are removable and make the table mobile, the weight holds it in place properly. The table is in good condition and has no scratches, though there is a chip in the glass of around 1 mm at the edge of a corner, but this is barely visible. See last photo with the 0.05 Euro coin.Table needs to be picked up in Eindhoven, due to the weight and size the table cannot be shipped. Read More
