DEER STALKING TELESCOPE - RARE, JOHN MACPHERSON

THIS RARE, TWO DRAW STALKING SCOPE WAS BOUGHT BY MY LATE FATHER FROM JOHN MACPHERSON SPORTING STORE, INVERNESS IN THE LATE 50'S AND USED SPARINGLY OVER THE LAST 70 YEARS. MACPHERSONS WAS THE PREMIER SHOOTING AND FISHING SHOP IN THE HIGHLANDS, SADLY NO LONGER IN EXISTENCE, AND THESE TELESCOPES WERE SPECIFICALLY MADE FOR JOHN MACPHERSON AND ENGRAVED AS SUCH. THIS ONE IS CALLED 'THE WATCHER TELESCOPE'. IT IS OF HIGH QUALITY WITH PERFECT, UNMARKED OPTICS, LENS CAP, SUN/RAIN SLIDE PROTECTOR AND LEATHER CASE. THERE IS NO CARRYING STRAP THUS ONE WILL HAVE TO BE ACQUIRED. THESE SCOPES ARE MUCH BETTER THAN THE THREE DRAW BEING LIGHTER AND LESS CUMBERSOME ON LONG HIGH HILL STALKS. USED BY MYSELF AND MY FATHER AND ONLY FOR SALE AS, SADLY I CAN NO LONGER WALK THE HILL.
