Dawes Galaxy Touring Bike (, British Made, Excellent Condition)

This is a Dawes Galaxy Tour from . In great condition. I'm confident that this bike has done under miles on the road. Looks like it did when it came out of the shop. This bike was made in Britain as testified by the sticker on the down tube. As I understand it, Dawes changed ownership in and their bikes are no longer manufactured in the UK. Frame size is 22.5in. It was ridden by someone 5'11''. All gears/derailleurs are in very clean condition (see photos). This bike was bought in and ridden that year and in but since then has been in storage. Please note: * The saddle is not original. Soon after purchase it was changed to a superior San Marco saddle. Unfortunately, I can't find the original saddle to supply with the bike. * The peddles aren't original. The clippless pedals now on the bike replaced the original pedals with toe clips at time of purchase with the original pedals being left in the store. Hand built Dawes Sterling Tour touring bike in superb condition having been little used since new. 21 speed Shimano Nexave 21 speed wide ratio gearing with window gear indicators showing which gear you are in and which will get you up the steepest of hills. Vuelta touring wheels, front and rear mudguards (a very small amount of oxidisation), rear rack, very comfortable touring saddle and butterfly touring bars with adjustable stem which are extremely comfortable and allow the bars to be set and used in the most comfortable position for the rider. 2 bottle holder mounts on the frame. Bike has hardly been used and is therefore in superb condition. Frame size is 19" which should fit from around 5ft 6" to around 6ft due to flexible bars, stem and long setapost. This bicycle is in excellent riding order. It's exactly like you would expect a bike to ride. This would suit a person between the heights of 5 foot 6, and 5 foot 11, i can adjust saddle accordingly and quickly. This is ready to ride away. Wheels are true, bearings are good, brakes do the job they should. Please note the marks and cosmetic pitting to various parts of the frame and forks, the frame however is solid and straight.
