RELISTING DUE TO BEING LET DOWN BY PREVIOUS BIDDER. Lovely old heavy leather saddle with wear.  As I know nothing about horses not sure if it is for general riding, dressage or show jumping. I have photographed it from several angles and included a ruler for sizing.  It is about 17" from front to back and 10" across the seat Approximately 32" open flat - see photo There is a wear hole on one side and the leather stitching has broken along one edge. The steel fixings are slightly rusting but I cannot see any damage to the straps or metal rings Payment on collection or in advance if being sent please.   We are located between Salisbury and Shaftesbury, just off the A303.  Delivery could be arranged within the local area for a small charge. Preferred payment with cash on collection, or via Paypal in advance if being couriered. Please contact me if you require any further information.

really nice good quality very comfortable and secure seat  English leather saddle  made by champion saddlery and is spring tree  vgc kept well oiled soft and supple  all stitching vgc girth straps all vgc  darker brown/black  flaps with lighter brown  seat  i would say its a small 17 inch to fit shorter back type  lovely wide spread seat nice knee rolls and back roll as well  it measures 8 inches from d ring to d ring med fit  and 15 inch from sturrup   bar to bottom flap  any questions welcome do have this advertised elsewhere so have rite to remove it early

A quality english leather GP saddle. The saddle is stamped champion faintly on the stirrup leather keepers. The saddle measures 17.5" to cantle, 7 inches between the D rings and 4.25 inches between the padding in the gullet where it would sit on the horses back. The tree is sound as is all the stitching, the girth straps are all in good order, the leather is soft and supple and the flocking is smooth and even with a nice amount of give in it. There are signs of wear that you would expect with a used saddle but overall a very nice saddle in good condition. Read More
