I bought these beauties back in from Whittaker and Gray in Shropshire for £600. My intention was to cover them in a mustard yellow, in keeping with my new colour scheme, because they matched the sofas I was planning to purchase. Subsequently, I was gifted 2 sofas, which are too chunky to go with these chairs, so I'm having to rethink. The wood and detail on the chairs is beautiful. The straps have been replaced, making them robust, strong and extremely comfortable, and the cushions are spotless. The fabric is a hard wearing linen, from what I can tell. Although they appear almost light grey in the pictures. I would assume the cushions to be more neutral in tone. There are no manufacturers labels or markings on the chairs, so I can't confirm their heritage, but they are beautiful chairs. The price quoted is for both chairs. Price is for collection.
