Selling this Danelectro U2. Bought it about a year ago second hand but it's not getting the use I had planned so looking to sell it on. It possibly needs a new jack but could also just need a good clean out. I'm no expert when it comes to guitar tech though so collection from Southampton is preferred so you can give it a whirl. Danelectro U2 90's reissue electric guitar

Up for sale is my Danelectro U2, from the 90's re-issues. It is a great guitar with no playing issues and comes with a brand new padded gig bag. I have fitted a Zamm Guitars replacement bridge (from the USA), which is indistinguishable from the original but will not sag as all the 90's guitars eventually do, making for a much better playing guitar. There is a 5mm scratch to the paint on the back of the neck (see pic) but otherwise the cosmetics are good. I would consider swapping for a good 12 string acoustic guitar. The single features a black-and-white photograph by David Wojnarowicz, overlaid on a gold background, of buffalo falling off a cliff. The image depicts a Native American hunting technique in which buffalo were forced over a cliff rather than shot. Wojnarowicz himself died a few months after the release of “One” as a result of AIDS-related complications, at the age of 37. Danelectro DC 59 Black Reissue Guitar

The '59 DC features twin alnico-powered Lipstick® case pickups with warmer spec windings for a sweeter tone and slightly hotter output. Plus there's a fully adjustable and intonatable chrome plated raised-tail bridge, and six adjustable, enclosed gear machines. Cosmetically, I had to take off the white binding tape as it was starting to peel off. I put the strap button in a more suitable place on the top horn (please so photos). Also, as you might have noticed on the back of the guitar, i once added a sticker from Monte Carlo - its permanent but looks cool. The guitar is in used condition with some scratches inside the top horn (shown in photos) Overall plays nicely with a pro setup by Tim Marten of Denmark St with 11's.
