This is a heartbreaking sale of my best friend,Jess. Jess is for Sale through no fault of her own,just I have a lot of work commitments and don't have the time to give her she deserves. Jess is a 14hh Cob X Dales who is 12 years old but acts as if she's 5. Jess has done a lot of things from Hacking,Schooling,Cross Country tracks,Schooling on Open fields,In hand showing and Going on a beach ride. This pony has given me so so much confidence,she ALWAYS looks after her rider and is never nasty or tries anything. Jess can be a bit cheeky and can try it on a bit if you let her get away with it but she would never do anything to harm you,all she would do is pull you to the nearest grass point if you let her! Jess has been around dogs,cats,cows,tractors and Big machinery. She's been past deers and sheep in the fields but never seemed to bother her. She prefers to hack in a group but will hack alone with a bit of encouragement. She's excelled magnificently in her schooling and is always willing to learn new things. She has done some jumping but isn't 100% with it. She's moved absouloutley lovely and is such a comfortable ride. She has excellent stable manners and would do anything for a polo. She's upto date with her vaccinations and worming. She is passported and microchipped. She will NOT just go to anybody as this girl really has been special for me and if it wasnt for work she wouldn't be going anywhere. She loads fantastically without any problems,She's been in a side loading box,trailer and a 7.5 tonne box with 5 other horses when she went to the beach. **For sale** year old Dales X Cob, Mary-Lou is not a novice ride and needs someone who has lots of experience, she is good with the farrier however does need sedating during dental care, Mary Lou will stand all day long to be groomed and picks all four feet up, she is also good to box/load. Mary-Lou is pass ported,chipped and wormed up to date, she is broken to ride, whilst riding she is very strong! I have done local level shows with her in hand and jumping however she's can be a little stubborn and can refuse jumps. I have had him advertised previously but didn't sell as I really wanted to hold on to him, however, I just don't have the time for him. He is a big, powerful lad who needs someone knowledgeable to bring him on and ideally work with him every day. He has been started in breaking tack and lunged with and without tack. I've had him in a trailer and he is gradually being introduced to traffic which he seems fine with. Good with farrier, ok to bath, not tried clipping. If you have the space to work him he could be backed over the winter no problem. He is not a horse for the novice rider and I feel he would be better suited to an adult or competent older teen who wants to do lots with him, the more you work him the better he gets.
