THE ART OF NEEDLE FELTING FROM YOUR CHILD'S DRAWING Send to us your child's drawing and we'll recreate a copy of the character in 3D needle felted. Please click the drop up menu to choose your favourite size. F eatures custom made felted creations from our hands to yours. We are able to needle felt a unique and personal sculpture from almost any drawing. We will let you know at the time of your order if we can work with the drawing or not. All sculptures are lovingly made from 100% wool roving by the process of needle felting. They are usually between 3/9 inches. "Needle felting is a time consuming process in which wool roving is repeatedly poked with a barbed needle, until the desired shape is formed, which can take many hours!" Our Felties can bring your child's imagination to life from a simple drawing. They also make wonderful gifts for grandparents and other family members. It usually takes up to 7 working days for your custom Feltie to be ready and dispatched. However, during our busier periods it may take a little longer. Please allow up to 2 weeks for your order to reach you. Please note: Our Felties are intended for decorative purpose only and are not toys. This is due to small parts and wool fibres which can be a hazard to younger children. They are of highest quality and will last for many years, but are not strong enough to endure being played with as toys. In general, felted sculptures are intended for decorative purpose only.
