Vintage Condor Road Bike 54cm lots of new bits - Very Cool Bike - £350 ono

British designed, Italian built:) I bought this cool bike about 3/4 months ago and, as much as I love it, it is too small (I am usually a 56). I bought it from Honiton Cycle Shop and the owner who is a big Condor stockist fitted the following: new bar tape, new Condor saddle, Condor brake levers, new Mavic tyres and tubes. He also rebuilt the original rims with new spokes - a real labour of love! I have fitted new gear cable for the FD and a new seat post to get more leg room, but the original is still here. The frame is totally original as is the paint work. There is a fair bit of surface rust, but that adds to the appeal. If you want it looking new I can recommend Argos Cycles in Bristol to respray. This really is a fantastic bike and I am sorry to be letting it go, if it was a smidge bigger I would keep it for sure. The price I think reflects the condition but also all the new parts and the fact that you'll be getting a beautiful vintage piece of British designed, Italian built history. Mountain/Road bike. Many new parts. 22" Frame

Lovely mountain bike with road tyres. It has been re-sprayed silver and black as the original paint was a bit scratched. It's not a professional re-spray but quite a good finish. A very distinctive machine. In the past few weeks I have added the following brand new parts. "Slick" green tyres. Brake pads. Handlebar gear changers and cables. Alloy short handlebars.(to replace steel ones) Grips. Seat. Alloy/steel crank set.(to replace all steel one) Alloy pedals. Chain. Shimano derailleur. Lightweight side stand. The bike is listed as having 14 gears but the crank set has 3 chain rings. When I bought the new gear changers, the one for the front only has 2 positions so you can only use 14 gears as it is. I have never found that I need 7 gears, never mind 14 but you could easily change the set up. The new alloy handlebars are shorter than the originals. If you want the original steel ones, I will throw them in with the bike. New ones are 21" wide. I also have one of the knobbly MTB tyres. The other was worn out.
