This started as a les Paul junior by Epiphone however the frets wore away due to excessive playing. I replaced the neck with a new one, replaced the pick up with a tone rider rebel 90 pickup, attached a bigsby and rounded off the heel of the neck for ease of access to play higher up as I found the block heel a bit intrusive. This is a Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Special Reissue Faded Cherry VOS. Features: period-correct solid mahogany Les Paul-style body nickel hardware and lightweight aluminum wraparound tailpie 24 ¾-inch scale length neck crafted from one piece of mahogany headstock with Holly veneer long neck tenon 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays single-ply crème binding Gibson’s traditional ’50s rounded neck profile (on this example it is less rounded) period-correct CTS pots and bumble bee capacitors standard 2 volume, 2 tone knob setup, and three-way selector switch period-correct white button tuners Faded Cherry V.O.S. finish standard Gibson Custom Shop case and certificate of authenticity. The guitar is light (7.8 lbs) and has a very comfortable ' C neck profile. This Custom Shop Les Paul Special is near mint apart from just a few light marks here and there. The most noticable ones are shown in the last few photos. Still, this Custom Shop Les Paul Special feels and looks like new. No issues at all. COA, original HSC and all original case candy included. Near mint and no issues at all apart from one very tiny ding. I have also noticed one tiny blemish (in the top layer of the finish only not in the wood), it's near the strap button and its size is ca. 5x5mm. These two marks are shown in the last two photos and are due to handling as the guitar really is not used. Unless you are really looking for these marks, they are hardly visible. I would say the condition of the guitar is 9.7 out of 10. The guitar is light (7.8 lbs) and has a very comfortable ' C neck profile. No swaps at all, sorry. No offers, thank you. Gibson Les Paul Custom Shop Custom w OHSC, COA

Greetings, Previously owned by an important band's guitar player (have to respect their wish and keep it a low profile), this is one hell of an instrument. First, because of its history, second because it features Real ebony and not last because it's a Custom Shop creation. The top on this guitar is a true admiration for me. It seems like plain top but under certain light angle it assumes that tight and deep flame. Killer! The neck is straight, there's minimal fret wear. All the electronics and finish are original. No breaks, no repairs, no modifications. Original hard shell case in used but good condition included! Detailed description of the item below: Headstock: Clean, one ding on the front corner and one ding on the back. Neck: Solid, no breaks, no repairs, no alterations. The Real ebony board is clean and there are no cracks, the frets show virtually no wear and the neck is straight. Typical Rounded Neck profile just as any Les Paul Custom from the era. Body: Clean overall, light surface scratches on the back plus a few insignificant and finish-only dings, various surface dings around the input jack area but nothing through the finish. The top is mostly clean with light dings here and there but hard to notice as they match the color and they are not through the finish.

Epiphone Les Paul Custom (Korean, VERY custom)

Korean Epiphone Custom Writing this is painful, but needs must. Was listed 6 months ago and I managed to escape selling it, but now I really need the cash. For sale is my nice old Epi Custom, Unsung (KOREAN) made. Was arctic white, till I took the top off:-D If the love hearts aren't to your liking, they come straight off!! Changes Original 60s Bumblebee cap on the neck pup Neck pickup is still the original Epiphone, this is a stunning pick up! Bridge pup replaced with a reversed SD59 Neck (I like neck tones) Tusq nut installed, single best change made to any Epiphone I have owned. Aftermarket bridge and pins, Stop tail. Top-wrapped but the Bridge is new enough that you could string it 'properly' without noticing too easily. Epiphone grovers replaced with real ones! The wiring could use a look at (or a rework) but the tones that come out of it at the moment are stunning for an Epi. My dads Gibson studio is no match at all! No trades, as cash is needed atm. Les Paul Project Build

Here I have what was a completed Les Paul project which needs freshened up and a new home. I think the top on this looked amazing and it was stained and sanded then restained to get the flame to pop. It comes with everything shown in the photos but here is a list of what is needed; New nut, switch, pots and jack, lacquer sanded down and redone (not essential but that was my plan) with the binding scraped clean after the dye has leached onto it.
