Two pairs of very heavy cotton damask pale cream curtains, very good condition, size 100 inches width x 100 inches drop, but easy to alter to own measurements. 3 inch Pencil Pleat Heading Tape, and decorative pelmet trim with quality fringe border. Handmade, and only used as decorative feature in lounge, due to weight of fabric lining not needed. Would benefit from cleaning, hence low price to go of £65 for both pairs. Designer cream tapestry curtains extra long 8ft plus pelmet

A delightful pair of professionally hand made curtains looking for a new home to be loved in. They measure 244 cm long (8 ft) and are 194 cm wide. Together they weight 8.6 kg! The pelmet is 193 cm wide by 49 cm deep. They were bought a number of years ago from a designer shop for hundreds of pounds. The fabric is hand-stitched tapestry in wool. They are lined, weighted at the hem and padded. The matching pelmet has one strip of the pattern across a padded plinth that also has a pole and rings from which to hang the curtains. They have a pencil pleat heading. Now comes the story! I wanted to keep them following a saga after the radiator behind them had a problem. In waiting for it to be repaired a hole left in the skirting board allowed a mouse to get in and nibble the bottom of my loved curtains!!! You can see what it did to the hem. They simply need a repair and you could get away with simply tidying them up. Or shortening them by a couple of inches. I decided to start again with the decor in the room. It seems a waste to throw these out as they are top quality. They also need cleaning (approx £50). With a bit of TLC these would be great in a new place.
