Unique Suite Of Craftsman Made Inlaid Solid Rosewood Furnitu

Extremely Unique and Handmade Solid Rosewood Inlayed Suite of Furniture We are reluctantly offering for sale probably the most unique and highest quality Oriental suite of solid rosewood salon furniture in the UK. The suite is made of SOLID rosewood and profusely decorated all over with hand inlayed Mother of Pearl. I understand the suite of furniture was commissioned at great expense and hand made in Dubia by Chinese craftsmen some 25 years ago, the quality of the furniture and the build inlay is breathtaking and has to be seen to be appreciated, all the glass and mirrors are hand bevelled. We acquired the suite some years ago for our large country house in Lincolnshire from a Lady who originally commissioned the furniture and there hasn’t been a day when we haven’t enjoyed its ownership. Sadly time turns, we are getting older and at some future date will have to downsize, this and the fact that it takes two men just to move a singular piece of this suite (solid rosewood is very heavy!) results in our offering the suite for sale. Please do not confuse this suite with high street store furniture no matter how high end some can be, given the cost of rosewood it would cost thousands to make a singular piece, even if the wood could be sourced, if you add in the hand inlay of Mother of Pearl to the extent that this suite has It is appreciated that the suite will represent a considered purchase by a very individual and particular buyer, who will have the space and home to accommodate such a wonderful suite. We do not wish to sell it other than as a whole, as to break the pieces up would be to the detriment of the suite as a whole. We fully understand that any potential buyer will likely want to view the individual pieces of furniture in person and we are very happy to accommodate this by mutual appointment in our North Lincolnshire Home. The asking price for the suite is in the order of £5k which we feel represents real value for a 7 piece suite of furniture of this quality, the price is of course open to negotiation. A Bar Unit, With Lift Up Top and Folding Leaves, Folding Table Surface, Bottom Cabinets With Pull Out Bottle Drawer and two doors to the side of Unit for glasses The size is 106cm High, 90cm Wide and 46cm Deep A Wonderful and Practical Bar Unit That Gives No Clue To It’s Function When Closed. 2. A Large Corner Display Cabinet (Which Splits into 3 Pieces) Having Front Opening Bevel Edged Glass Door and two bevelled edged glass side panels and Mirror Glass to Rear and Three Shelves, diffused lighting to top and a wooden cabinet underneath. The size is 182cm High, 80cm Wide and 60cm Deep in a Corner 3. A Further Large Display Cabinet (which Splits into 3 Pieces) Having a Solid Beveled Edged Glass to Front, Mirror Glass To Rear, Bevelled Glass Side Doors and Staggered Internal Shelving in the Chinese Style. Below are Two Cabinet Doors which open to cabinet space and two internal drawers. Above is an In Built Diffused Light Unit. The size is 200cm High, 91cm Wide and 36cm Deep. The Piece is covered all over With Inlayed Mother of Pearl. 4. A Drawer Stand of Oriental Form, Having Central Drawer and Two Cupboard Doors With Internal Shelving. The size is 75cm High, 93cm Wide and 40cm Deep. 5. A Very Large Coffee Table of Oriental Form The size is 37cm High, 120cm Wide and 80cm Deep. 6.
