The saddle is well used but with plenty of use left. I have just had the gullet & girth straps re-stitched, the saddler did not report any other issues. this saddle although lacking a makers mark is a beautifully made quality english leather saddle (which no doubt cost a small fortune back when it was made) it is 17.5 inch in length and approx medium/med-wide fit (8in d to d or about 5.5in between the saddle cushions at the front.) it is showing some signs of its age with a few scuffs and marks on the leather and does have the name dandy faintly marked into the back of the cantle (see picture) but i cannot stress enough the quality this saddle is despite its age - not one for the show ring for obvious reasons, but years and years of useful life left in it - the perfect buy for hacking and use at home.

County Saddlery black dressage saddle. This is a lovely English leather dressage  saddle which is in super condition. We bought it for my daughter's pony over the summer, together with another (which I also have listed) but unfortunately this one didn’t fit her new pony. A very smart saddle which is blemish free (apart from a few leather spots as shown in the photos)   and made of very supple leather and would do anyone proud in the show ring or dressage arena. Her new pony is a slight 148cm (14.2hh) 4 yr old show pony that would just need to grow a bit for it to fit but we have settled on a 16.5” working hunter saddle instead. Please note that the stirrups and leathers are not included. So sorry, but no returns. I am happy to post the saddle out which will be very well packed or the winning bidder can collect. Quality GP saddle in brown leather made by Kings Saddlery of Walsall (www.kingsaddlery.co.uk).  It is a few years old now but still has lots of life left in it.   In good clean condition with no tears or rips but used so some light marks as you would expect from normal wear.  It hasn't had a great deal of use so the girth straps are in good condition.  See the photos for measurements, I'll do my best to answer any questions.

Very tidy unbranded dressage saddle. 17.5 seat and medium fit. Y girth system and adjustable stirrup bars make this quite an unusual saddle. Very nicely balanced with medium external knee rolls which are quite soft. Flocked with wool and flocking in great condition. Fairly deep gusset. Medium deep seat. A good work saddle for any yard. Slight rain damage at cantle shown in photo 10. The black is not quite as black here as it should be. A total bargain as we don't know the maker.
