This is a nice and fairly rare Japanese WWI war Medal, related to the inauguration/coronation ceremony of Emperor Taisho. This took place in the Imperial Palace in Kyoto in . These medals were awarded to officers of the army and Navy in during the first World War.and-Order of the rising sun. This was the first Japanese knighthood. The design is typically Japanese. Using flowers. The Order is the third highest Japanese decoration. The Order was exclusively reserved for men until Ladies were distinguished with the Order of the Crown. Both beautiful and original and in fine, used condition!!!. Two beautiful medals with great historical meaning, which will not be easily found in Europe.
