Shih Tzu X Poodle (Shihpoo), male, 2 & half yrs old

Teddy is a neutered male Shihpoo. He is two and a half years old. He is a loving and energetic dog that is being rehomed due to no fault of his own. Teddy has separation anxiety so he will need owners who work part time (5 hours a day or less) or, ideally, are home all the time. He must be crated when left alone otherwise he is destructive. He is not destructive when he has company. He needs owners with experience of dogs. He loves to play with other dogs and is friendly, though sometimes a little too bouncy. He needs walking for at least an hour everyday but loves cuddles on the sofa when he is home. He is toilet trained and knows the following commands: sit, lay, stay, bed and paw. Teddy is used to being walked both on and off lead. He has good recall when there are no other dogs around, if there are other dogs around then he will want to play. Teddy does not live with children but has not had any problems with children out on walks or when we have had visitors. He would be best suited to a home with older children. Teddy cannot live with a cat. Please note that since Teddy is half poodle, he needs to be clipped/groomed approximately every 8 - 12 weeks. Teddy's fur is very short at the moment since it is summer. Teddy is very loved and spoilt and I will be incredibly sad to see him go. I want the best possible home for him please. He will come with a large bag of food (12kg - only recently opened so most of bag left), his crate (very large), several toys, car harness and walking harness,extendable lead, collar, his bed, food and water bowls, brushes and two Equafleeces.
