Cast Iron Lamp Post with Victorian Copper/Stainless Lantern
Restored cast iron lamp posts originally manufactured between , by John M Moorwood fabrications of Sheffield. These we're prominent pieces of street architecture, that are currently being removed in favour of modern lighting. These are all unique in their own way as production methods and tolerances don't meet modern standards, but this adds character to each individual post. Approximate lamp post sizes are a length of 11'6" with 22" being below ground and 9'10" above ground. Ladder T-bars are about 36" wide and have several end cap variations. Lantern tops are 33" tall and 15" at the widest point. The Lamp Posts have been stripped to remove the many layers of old paint and rust. They are then coated in red oxide primer to protect from future rusting and can be finished in either standard colours black, green, red, white, antique white, blue or navy. Other colours can be available at request and may be at an increased buyer cost. Lantern tops are of medium/large size and can be chosen in either copper or stainless steel. They can be fitted with 1/2" threaded bulb holder (Not Included) if you would like to turn these into a working electric light. Also fully glazed with easy access through the top and a top inner piece of reflector. Discounts may be available on request for purchases of 2 or more finished products.
