Credited with many successful long distance voyages and considerable success in the Round Isle of Wight and other races, the Contessa 26 has excellent sea-keeping qualities - a safe smaller cruiser for family sailing and capable of extended voyaging. There is an active Contessa 26 Association online. This is a lovely example, the hull and deck are still the original gel coat and never been painted. Below the waterline was epoxied some years ago for protection. Brand new tiller fitted this season and hatchboards completely refurbished.
