My beautiful 16.2hh chestnut mare who is 19 years old is looking for her forever retirement home. Due to a change in my circumstances i am no longer able to give my mare the time she deserves. She is looking for a home with someone who will give her cuddles and carrots. She can live in or out, with mares or geldings and is currently living out with just 1 other gelding. She has been out of work for over a year now but could easily be brought back into light hacking with the time and effort from somebody. Dom is an 8 year old gelding and due to being diagnosed with navicular is no longer able to take me on show jumping, so we are looking for a loving special someone to take Dom on as a happy hacker and companion. I have owned Dom for 2 years, he has given me a huge amount of confidence and has brought me on leaps and bounds, he is also the most loving pony! Timmy is a very handsome 14.2hh registered appaloosa gelding, born in . He used to jump BSJA up to 1m30 but due to injury was put in a field and I never had the time to bring him back in as I went off to university. His injury is fully healed now and he is ready to be brought back into work. He is a very sweet pony, who would turn his hoof to dressage, pony club or just to happy hacking. He is always snaffle mouthed, very good to hack, will go in front or at the back and can be turned out with any horses. He loves attention and will stand for kids to groom him all day. For sale as a happy hacker or companion pony. Sadly due to being outgrown by current owner we are looking for a loving forever home for boysie. Boysie is a 14hh, 15 yr old X cob with loads of love to give. Boysie has done some X country,unaffiliated dressage and jumping in the past however we would now like him to be sold on for the quieter life of hacking or as a companion pony. He is the kindest of gentleman who just loves attention. I would say he's not a complete novice ride as he can be strong at times. He is fab in the heaviest of traffic and is used to being around children and dogs. Boysie is great to shoe, with the dentist and is fully up to date with his vaccinations. He has travelled alone and in company on the horse box with no issues. He did go through a period of being difficult to load but we have had no problems lately. He can live in or out but needs to be rugged up in the winter months. Boysie has been in fields with both mares and geldings with no problems. 11yr old light weight hunter, has been shown sucessfully but unfortunatly is now perminantly lame. vet has advised he can be ridden and gets bored just stuck in the field and enjoys being ridden. Although he can only do light hacking. is excellent to hack but is a WB and not a novice ride. doesnt buck rear or bolt. can be alittle fussy with putting bridle on over his ears but easly managed. he is a very special horse to me but unfortunatly i dont have time to hack him and deserves lots of love and attention. is to stay at present yard only. would suit older person who is just happy to hack round the countryside. Happy hacker/light school gelding for sale Trotter x 13.3 hands Tri-coloured 12 year old Jonty is a lovely boy with a cheeky personality. Jonty can mainly be used as a happy hacker due to previous lameness issues; has had the all clear from the vets and can have vets name and number on request. companion/light hacker She's 13.2h and 22 years old. Unsure of history but we have had her for 2 and a half years and although we promised her a forever home but due to personal circumstances that has changed. She can be lightly hacked and equally happy to be out in the field with some fussing and attention. Doesn't like to be left on her own for too long. When tacking up she can be a bit sassy with the girth. Reassurance that she's not going to get hit helps a lot. She hasn't been ridden since January but she is never fresh when ridden. She's perfect for beginners on lead rein and onto first ridden, very responsive and looks after little people. She has a sensitive mouth and knows how to neck rein. She has been trained by clicks instead of kicks as that's what she responds to best. She is under no circumstances to be jumped. She doesn't like it and will refuse every time. Videos are available of her being ridden by children. This is a very difficult decision and hopefully she can stay at present yard with lots of attention that she deserves. Bonnie, 15.2hh, 7 year old, is a fantastic little mare looking for a quieter easier life. Due to hind leg Suspensory injury and a little Arthritic on front leg she is more suited for hacking. Beautiful grey mare irish x 15hh 13 years Im looking for a very special home for my lovely mare whose been with us as a Mother /Daughter share for 7 years. She has taken part in local SJ HT XC Dressage, and took us both hunting. Due to the onset of arthritis she is now looking for a light hacking home, 3/4 times per week. She hacks out with her field mate and does hack alone but can occasionally be nervous. She is very sweet and gentle very good doer and tidy in stable. 15.1hh chestnut mare, though really is not a typical "chestnut mare" I had this mare as a companion to my old mare, and she is currently a companion to my miniature Shetland who is also her companion. I have only ridden this mare on the roads, and no traffic fazes her, not even a local hunt galloping next to her and she plodded down the road on a long rein! I do not have the time for this mare that she deserves. She is currently sound and would probably enjoy being slowly brought back into work, though this mare has previously been in a riding school I wouldn't recommend a novice to take her on for riding. Saying that I use to hack her from a head collar rather than a bitted bridle. On the ground she is a true dope on a rope. She will stand for hours to be groomed, she has excellent stable and field manners. She's easy to keep and is currently bear foot. She is sold as seen from field.
