We have a Section D Welsh Cob looking for a new home as a companion horse only! 15 years. Billy has been diagnosed with a back problem/kissing spines. He had this problem when we bought him. He is the most easy going horse, lovely temperament, loves a fuss and attention, and likes company himself. Excellent for farrier, barefooted now. New home would have to collect as we have no transport. Any questions please ask. I would like to keep in touch with his new home.

Billy is a 15 year old 16.3 Welsh Cob. He has been with us since March this year, he has been diagnosed with Kissing Spines, so for companion only and not to be ridden or put in trap. He is slightly arthritic but fine for very light hacking only, semi retirement but short hacks are fine and the exercise does him good His tack is available to go with rugs available to go for a nominal fee. Betsy is an ex polo mare. I rescued her from the meat trade about two years ago and for the first four months worked hard to bring her on and encourage her to trust people. I then went travelling for 10 months and have been home for about 8 months. Throughout that time she was left to relax in a field with two other horses and enjoy her days. This horse is one of the sweetest ponies on the ground. She takes a while to trust you but once she does she is perfect in ever way on the ground. Outstanding to box, shoe, groom etc. Unfortunately it is evident that something bad happened in her past hence why she was being sent for meat. Her back was checked by the vet and although nothing physically was noticeably wrong she is evidently damaged mentally. For these reasons I am giving her away as a companion. I have ridden her but due to her past being unknown I am not willing to sell as a safe ridden horse and therefore would ask for her NOT to be ridden and if done then it's at your own risk.
