Kaliber is a 16'1hh thoroughbred x trakhener. He is polite and affectionate and could possibly be lightly schooled if he finds the right home. Available for moving yards. Needs to have access to a stable at night. I would prefer him not to go too far from my location but if the right home is found I will be more than happy for him to move there. He is out in a herd of geldings at the moment and has proved to be calm and likes to distance himself but makes friends with smaller ponies. Read More

Horse for sale as a light hack/ showing or companion horse.

I have a beautiful 8 year old 15.2h Thoroughbread X gelding for sale as a light hacking horse/ show horse or a field companion. He loves people and adores hugs and being pampered. He can live outdoors or will happily stable as he loves to lie down and fall asleep. If used as a companion horse he would be fine being left in a field or stable alone as long as he had something to occupy him e.g. a hay net / grass. He has lived with both mares and gelding and in large mixed herds too. He can be anxious at times around busy yards and worries if things approach him quickly/ noisily from behind. He has just being brought back into work after having had time off due to a right fore lameness issue. Vets advise he is used for light hacking, showing or as a companion horse now. He has definitely got a WoW factor and turns heads wherever he goes. However he is a very sensitive horse and needs a experienced rider / handler that can reassure him when he gets tense and guide him. A very sad sale of a much loved horse but my daughter now requires a larger mount and she is wanting to jump and event now. A loving home paramount for our special boy. Read More

Is anyone out there looking for a companion horse. This is Lola and she is 18 years young. She has a lovely temperament and has good manners, never nasty and has never kicked, doesn't barge or pull. She does exactly what you tell her to do. She is good with farrier and just recently had her teeth done, she is passported and microchipped. Sadly Lola can not be ridden anymore due to her arthritis in her legs which can make her stiff. She has lived in and out but prefers living out. Good to catch and loves a groom. Charlie has amazing paces he's straight and correct. He would make a fantastic dressage horse. Honest advert no novices. Charlie was backed last year as a 4 year old and was walking trotting and cantering quietly. Unfortunately Charlie can buck under saddle. We turned him away for 6 months. When we brought Charlie back into work we used a backing dummy which he did buck with. We had him working nicely and hacking but due to having a few horses in we are struggling to keep on top of him as he needs a lot of one on one work. In the last two weeks we have been taking him out hacking and he's not put a hoof out of place. He's done a lot of natural horsemanship he's very talented at this and enjoys being worked.
