Sweet natured chestnut broodmare/companion in Larkhall

Rosie is a sweet natured chestnut mare who is 9 years old. She stands at 16hh and has been with me since she was 3 years old. This is a very sad sale so would be looking for the right person. She has had a good ridden career but is now intermititently lame when in full time work therefore would be sold as a broodmare or companion horse. Breeding can be seen in passport back to grandsire. All vaccinations and teeth up to date. She is good in and out of her stable and loves attention. She would come with all rugs included. Price not important as looking for a good home for her.

Light hack/ companion home wanted

I have a 7 year old thoroughbred gelding, very easy to do once he knows your routine more like a big dog! My circumstances are changing. He's just a happy hack very good in traffic and once he knows the rides he's just a kick along pony. He's currently got a bitless bridle but can have his snaffle back if your more comfortable. Whether you ride him everyday or once every two weeks he's the same. Will come with everything I am also happy to carry on insuring him and help with vet bills Very hard choice to make but I don't want to not have the time for him. He loads into a trailer but hasn't gone anywhere since he we came here 10 months ago. He is the most loving boy you'll ever meet and will become part of the family. He is in Newbury at the moment. Would like him to stay fairly local but for the right person I don't mind him going further. He currently lives out and since iv had him has stables in the winter but will happily live out all year round, he comes with everything. My lovely little Welsh sec a mare is looking for her forever home as a companion. She has been used as a baby machine for her whole life, her most recent foal is soon ready to be weaned from her and we don't have the room or facilities to properly do this without causing stress to them. I would like her to go to someone to be loved and adored and no longer be a breeding machine, however she could possibly be in foal again as she has a covering certificate dated . Looking for a companion home for Charlie. Charlie is a rescue cob who hasn’t had the best life. Despite this Charlie is very loving and sweet but would benefit from personal space manners. A lot of Charlie’s history is unknown, although the gist is that he was used for breeding over an over and then just dumped. He was found skin and bone and entire last summer. Charlie then went to the meat man but was rescued just in time. He went on to a small rescue yard where he was gelded and aged between ish. A lady who shared my yard then took Charlie on and he came to stay with my 2 geldings. Unfortunately said laid has now abandoned him the last few months and I have been taking care of Charlie. Charlie accepts full tack stands to be groomed doesn’t bite of kick. However once tacked up and mounted he doesn’t move. He does however respond to long reining with a tiny tiny tap on the top of his tail which indicates to me he has been driven in the past. Charlie deserves a happy ending and some one on one attention. I am looking for a forever companion home or the occasional drive out. Read more

Shetland pony wanted free to 5* home as long term companion. Please no rigs mares who have strong seasons and wind the boys up;) I have a lovely pony who was cut late so has been know to get territorial if he feels he needs to protect his girls so can't have another who does the same or a mare who is a big tart.
