COMPANION FREE TO GOOD HOME

Betsy is an ex polo mare. I rescued her from the meat trade about two years ago and for the first four months worked hard to bring her on and encourage her to trust people. I then went travelling for 10 months and have been home for about 8 months. Throughout that time she was left to relax in a field with two other horses and enjoy her days. This horse is one of the sweetest ponies on the ground. She takes a while to trust you but once she does she is perfect in ever way on the ground. Outstanding to box, shoe, groom etc. Unfortunately it is evident that something bad happened in her past hence why she was being sent for meat. Her back was checked by the vet and although nothing physically was noticeably wrong she is evidently damaged mentally. For these reasons I am giving her away as a companion. I have ridden her but due to her past being unknown I am not willing to sell as a safe ridden horse and therefore would ask for her NOT to be ridden and if done then it's at your own risk. We have a 13,2 approx Appaloosa part bred for free to good home as companion. He is 4 years old who we originally got for my sisters hoping he would be easy to break. However after him going to a producer we realised he is just to nervous and unsettled to be ridden due to his past not being good. Cracker 14.2 grey gelding. Cracker is for sale as he was mis-sold as a first pony, and therefore needs an experienced rider! He is currently been kept as a companion as I have lost my confidence. Cracker is use to farm machinery and he is good around children. Cracker is good to handle on the ground and he will live out however he does like to come in, In winter nights and have his tea. Cracker may need treats to catch the first few nights but as soon as he gets to know and trust you he will let you catch him straight away, he can b nervous around new people but soon learns to trust you. Cracker comes with all his rugs including: 350g heavyweight, 200g medium weight, lightweight and a stable fleece. Cracker also comes with his current hay net, head collar and a bag of truly irresistible veg as he loves it! In winter he likes to have the veg in his tea and on really cold nights his pyjamas on! Cracker will stand to be groomed. He is good with farrier when distracted with food, does not kick is just a bit fidgety. He has never kicked, bitten or barged. My adorable 21 year old 16hh IDX Gelding Wellie is for sale free to a good home. Until 5 years ago he was a riding school horse. He is slightly arthritic but fine for very light hacking only, semi retirement but short hacks are fine and the exercise does him good His tack is available to go with rugs available to go for a nominal fee. He is fine with other horses, he is current in a livery yard with 8 others. He is stabled overnight and I would like similar.
