Combination Launch Trolley / Road Trailer for a Dinghy / Boat

The Launch Trolley is made by RAPIDE, is galvanised and suitable for a 10 to 14 ft boat. It is adjustable to a specific boat length and hull shape so should be suitable for a variety of boats. it has nearly new pneumatic rubber tyres and is generally in very good condition as it has been stored in a garage. The matching Road Trailer is also by RAPIDE. It does require checks and possibly new suspension as I have never used it on the road and it was on it's side in the garage for more than 5 years. The tyres have been given new tubes in the last few weeks and the rest is all solid metal work with galvanised mud guards. A mast crutch is fitted. The appearance could be greatly improved by a repaint job. It has the potential for transformation into a bargain full Combi Trolley trailer with little effort. GP 14 glass fibre sailing dinghy with built-in buoyancy in the bows and on each side which are topped by varnished wood seats. Varnished with non-slip patterned marine ply wooden flooring. White hull and blue decks. Gold-coloured anodised aluminium mast. Aluminium boom and spinnaker pole. Two oars included. Three sails - main, jib and spinnaker. Sail number . Centre mainsheet. Eye-catching wooden boat in good repair for age. The GP14 class has been around since the late 's, and is equally at home on inland or sheltered coastal waters. GP stands for General Purpose, and that's exactly what they are. Hull paint and deck varnish in good sound condition, and internal varnish and raised floor non-slip deck paint is very serviceable. Aluminium mast and boom, with kicker and horse mainsheet. Standing and running rigging in good order. Lifting wooden centreboard and rudder with aluminium tiller and extension. There are three mainsails, one with a non-original number is still pretty stiff and crinkly, with a jib and a genoa in similar condition. The other two are nothing to write home about, although one has 2 sets of reefing points and a flotation envelope at the head. There is a spinnaker and pole, although the control lies and blocks etc are not fitted, and may not all be there. For storage protection an aged mast-up boat cover in working condition is included, with a small amount of damage around the rudder pintle. The unbraked combination trailer and launching trolley is definitely not new, but the tyres and wheel bearings are in good condition, and the road axles are on isolastic type suspension units. The steel chassis are galvanised, and show no sign of corrosion. There is no safety chain/cable, so you may like to fashion your own, and there is no lightboard. There are 2 elderly life-jackets (not buoyancy aids), which can be manually inflated, or gas operated, but one has no CO2 cartridge. Servicing is advised. Please only contact me by Email or Text. Road Trailer and Launching Trolley for a sailing Dinghy similar to a 470 etc. I used it for a little Rib. The road Trailer had new wheels, hubs and bearings a couple of years ago and I'd say it's not been more than 30miles since. It was all stripped back and painted in silver Hamerite. The launching Trolley could do with tidying up a little, to be honest, but it's all in sound condition structurally.

Up for sale is my Solo Sailing Dinghy with composite hull and wooden deck. Comes complete and ready to sail, needs nothing. Has an excellent cover and will come with an additional two spare sails, spare rudder and spare centreboard. Weighs exactly 70KGS and I has been raced successfully up until last year. Trailer is in good condition with decent bearings and wheels. Don't expect any issues with towing it, even long distances. Trailer board not currently available.
