Been broken for nearly a year so is still learning but is willing. Has had back, teeth and injections done and been cold shod. Very lovely iron/dapple grey mare, quiet, good bone. Stands about 16.2, turned five early September. Bought wild from a herd as a project, but just dont have the time to break/bring on. Bought specifically to do side saddle and three day event with. Now halter broken, used to daily stable life, will lead, have rugs on, (still working on back feet) not a mean horse, always the lowest in the herd despite her size!! Very green and uneducated, but brave and bold to investigate. One heck of a jump on her! She jumped four & 1/2 foot stock fence, but by accident I think, but wont jump electric tape. Chance Very sad sale, Around 13hh 4yo cob mare, was vaguely backed around 3yo. She was brought for my young nieces but has been proven to be too much we can handle. Poppy is a lovely, sweet-natured approx. 14hh 6yr old coloured cob mare. She is a responsive, forward-going ride (with good brakes!) and has been schooling nicely through the summer in our field. She has in the past been out jumping and has done cross country too, although has very much gone back to basics with myself. Poppy is a sensitive soul who needs a patient and caring new owner to get the very best from her - she is a genuine, honest pony who constantly strives to please and loves her work, but occasionally does need reassurance. She will live in or out with both mares and geldings, and is great to handle, bath, catch, box and fab with the farrier - she stands at the side of a busy road to have her feet trimmed with no problems at all.
