Hi there, this bike is available, almost as we received it. It would fit a person between the heights of 5 foot 6, and 6 foot, I can adjust saddle to fit, the saddle being new to the bike. It's priced according to it's condition. Normally I would set something like this aside and restore it, but too many bikes at this time of year give me little time to do so. It is very much rideable, it's just slightly rarer to come by and these frames were made by Mercier and Bertin back in the day! So either it gets used as a good, decent quality student bicycle for the year, or someone who appreciates their bikes will take this and give it a full restoration. Either way, the price I think is fair/cheap compared to similar ones I've seen go for in the past. Beautiful Retro Daccordi Designer Road Bike - 57cm - Large - Eroica - Italian Vintage Steel

I really don't want to sell this. I bought it a few years ago to sell on again but fell in love with it. It's beautiful, and fits me perfectly (I'm 6ft with 32" inside leg) and it rides like a dream. Alas, I have too many bikes though and I want to go on tour so I have to downsize. A few things have been improved since these photos were taken, they're nice photos though so I thought I'd use them anyway. The tyres have been changed for hardly used Continental Grand Prix s, these are amazing tyres and have hardly been used. The amber walls look great on the retro bike. The gear cables have been replaced, and the cranks have been polished. I also rebuilt the rear wheel with a used Mavic MA2 rim. Everything works perfectly. The frame is made of light weight Columbus Cromor steel tubing with nickel protection. The chrome is all perfect, there are a few marks on the paint work but no rust. Vintage steel road bike with Campagnolo groupset

For sale here is a steel racing bike that would date to the s. The sizing is 56cm top tube (centre to centre) and 56.5 seat tube (centre to centre). The frame has been destickered, so I am not sure of the make, but I'm pretty sure it is Columbus tubing - it's not heavy, low end junk - and the location of where the tubing sticker used to be would suggest Columbus. The paintwork is a bit scruffy however, and there is some surface rust here and there, such as under the top tube and on the stem. It has a full Campagnolo Mirage groupset comprising headset, front and rear derailleurs, crankset (170), shifters/brake levers and hubs (which are on Mavic rims). All of it is working fine, the only fault is a broken microadjuster on one of the brake callipers, but this does not affect operation and you can still adjust the callipers through the cable bolt obviously. Other parts include ITM bars and stem and Zefal bottle cage. The wheels could do with a tweak with a spoke key but they aren't much out of true. Everything is working as it should - gears are changing fine and the brakes work. It is pictured without pedals, but I can supply some basic ones if you want them. I bought it a while back as I was going to use the groupset on another bike but plans changed as they often do! Pick up is from Harringay N8 between Manor House and Turnpike Lane. Ernesto Colnago wanted to create a bicycle which would be a milestone, both for himself and for the bicycle industry. The name "Arabesque" comes from the lugs which have an "arabesque shape" and also remind a Gloria Garibaldina (a frame builder Ernesto Colnago worked for...). As for the tubing, the Arabesque was built both with Columbus SL tubes and special profiled Colnago tubes (similar to the Columbus Gilco of the Master and Esamexico).
