collection of green, clear and brown glass bottles
This collection have been dug up and cleaned and would make good ornament, decorative or theatrical items. I have guessed the era. To be sold as a set, please see my other adverts or contact me if you are interested in a larger quantity of bottles for a wedding/craft project etc. Numbered left to right as per the photograph; Bottle 1 - Clear glass (with stain from contents)? Labelled "TABLESPOONS" with markings/niches. 8cm wide, 4cm deep and 19.5cm tall. clear glass with side seals. Marked with "18" on the bottom Bottle 2 - smallest. Clear glass, oblong shape. W7cm, D4cm, H17.5cm. markings on the front reads "TABLESPOONS" with marks to denote a tablespoon measure along both top and bottom of the word. Slight mark on reverse from where it has lain in the ground. Side seams/moulding joins down both sides (due to manufacturing process)? Bottle 3 - largest. Brown glass, round shape. Circumference 8cm, H25cm. Front is labelled "EMU" at the top and "6 BOTTLES GUARANTEED TO EQUAL ONE GALLON" on the bottom. Base of bottle has "K" marking. Bottle 4 - Clear glass with obvious green hue, oblong shape. W8cm, D4.3cm, H20cm. No markings, states "12" on the bottom and has side seams/moulding joins down both sides. Bottle 5 - Green glass. Circumference is approx 6cm, height is 21cm. the front is embossed with "RAY & SON" and the rear is embossed with "LONDON W". around the bottom of the bottle is "RILEY MNFG CO LD LONDON S.W."
