Susie is a pretty 8 year old 13hh black cob mare with a sweet and loving nature and absolutely no vices. She is excellent on the ground and loves a cuddle and lots of grooming and fuss. She is very good on a leading rein for beginners and is currently ridden by my 7 year grandchild. She is also suitable for a more experienced rider and is also being ridden by my 70 year old friend. Susie loves to hack out and will go first or last. She is excellent in traffic and has passed tractors, cars, lorries etc. She will stand at the block to mount and has been working well in an indoor school however would benefit from more schooling. Super, genuine lead rein Shetland mare for sale

Sapphire Vashti is a superbly bred 39 inch mare who is straight and correct in every way. She is 10 years young and has the most beautiful head, good bone and is super friendly and easy to handle. She really is the full package. I have been informed that she was previously used as a lead rein pony, however until last weekend I had never had a jockey on her back until my 9yo Godson jumped on her last weekend and we had a super walk around the field where she loved it and was totally unphased, even with a herd of Shetlands following her loose. Saph is also good on the roads, very calm and relaxed and just adores attention. She would 100% excel as a lead rein pony and would go far off the lead rein with the work put in (she is not schooled and I would recommend for her new owner to start her from basics). Meet jlo she is a 13hh skewbald light weight cob. I have owned jlo for the last year and she has been an absolute joy to own. We brought her for my daughter to start learning on but because she has lost all interest and she is being wasted in a field. She is 15 years old but.please don't let that put you off she loves and good gallop and canter and is happy to pop a jump and a lodge. She is perfect in all heavy traffic and tractors. She is a great lead rein pony and has taught my daughter to come.off the lead rein and happy plods along the roads with someone on ground or on horse back but does need a confident rider if being ridden on her own. She doesn't buck rear but just like reassurance from her rider. This is the hardest decision I have ever had to do because I would keep her as a field pet if I could. But she still has so much more to give a young rider or small adult. So please only contact me if you are 100% sure because she won't just go to anyone she will only go to a 10? home.
